The Lawrence Public Library Board met in regular session Tuesday evening at the facility in downtown Lawrenceville. They received and discussed preliminary ideas regarding the planned ceiling and light improvement project and looked to continue forward with architectual firm ADG from Mt Carmel in the late fall and winter months when material prices are hopefully lower. They also discussed the creation of improved signage at the library entrance. The board did approve authorizing computer equipment upgrades and also the renewal of insurance coverage for the library building itself. Head librarian and library director Diane Brumley did report that the attendance for the Summer Reading Program being held at Lawrenceville High School auditorium has been up significantly so far.
