William L. Milam, age 72, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, May 03, 2021 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1948 in Crawford County, Illinois, the son of Floyd W. and Ina Pauline (Sponsler) Milam. He was married to Boonruen ‘Sissiley’ Brassra, and she survives.
William was a diesel mechanic, and served his country in the United States Army. He worked for T.A. Brouillette, and then retired from LCR Construction. His memberships included the Hutsonville American Legion and the NRA. He was an avid reader. His family will remember him as a kind and loving father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ina Dixon and husband, Richard of Carmel, Indiana and Karen Broad and husband, Steven of Rocklin, California; and four grandchildren, Karina Stoltz, Lucas Stoltz, Emily Broad, and Aiden Broad.
There will be no formal services conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
