The Knox County Indiana Sheriff’s Department has announced that it has recieved a rash of reports of home and vehicle breakins recently. Most of the reported incidents have occured in the northern areas of the county during both the day and night. Investigation is continuing but there have been no arrests thus far. Authorities are asking residents of that area and the entire county to lock their homes and vehicles and to not leave valuables and other items out in plain sight. Anyone who has any information regarding the thefts are asked to contact the Knox County Sheriffs Department.
