The Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Board met Tuesday and did approve after discussion the Annual Business Plan. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Don Robbins indicated that that plan mirrors the medical facility Strategic Plan in regard to attainable goals for the future. Also approved was a 5 year loan agreement with Peoples state bank for the purchase of a CT Scanner and the hiring of the firm H.H.G. for an initial hospital property evaluation study. The board did honor outgoing board member B.J Schafer who recently stepped down after 10 years of service from 2010 to 2020. In honor of his time on the board, Schafer was given a plaque by the hospital.
