illinois-emergency-management-agency

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency is working with county emergency managers throughout the state to ensure local governments impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic have all the documents and paperwork necessary to qualify for federal public assistance funding. Local taxing bodies, non-profits and houses of worship can recieve reimbursement for emergency protective measures that are in direct response to COVID-19. This week IEMA is conducting applicant briefings virtually to provide an overview of the program requirements and instructions for completing the required forms. Public assistance is available in all 102 counties including Lawrence. However public assistance funding is not for individuals or business owners affected by the pandemic. More informations is available at the IEMA website.
