KELLY DOMINANT IN LAWRENCE COUNTY BASEBALL BATTLE

Ethan Kelly was outstanding on the mound Thursday in leading the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians to their third win in a row-an 8-0 shutout of the Red Hill Salukis at Unit 20 Ballpark. Kelly went 7 innings and allowed only 1 hit, struck out 12 and walked 2. The Tribe broke open a scoreless game with all 8 of their runs coming in the bottom of the 6th enroute to the win. Christian Beamon had 3 hits and drove in 2, Connor O’Dell added 2 hits and 2 RBI and Eli Ivers had 2 hits. Josh Henry had the lone Saluki hit. The Indians scored 8 times on 7 hits and made 3 errors while the Salukis made 4 errors. The Indians are now 4-6 and the Salukis 1-8 with 8 losses in a row. Both teams are off till Monday.
