The Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians finished up the regular season Saturday in the four team Olney (Richland Co) Invitational and split on the day. They lost their opening game to South Central 13-2 but rebounded to win their second contest over Oblong 14-3. The South Central loss snapped a four game winning streak. The Lady Indians wrapped up the year with a 13-17 record heading into the postseason Monday. The #7 seeded Lady Indians will host #8 Greenville at 4:30 p.m. in an opening round game in the Newton Class 2A Regional at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville.
