Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced that two local men were sentenced recently to prison during appearances in Lawrence County Circuit Court (LCCC). 30 year old Zakkary Yarber of Lawrenceville was given 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) and 1 year of mandatory supervised release on a Class 1 Illinois Felony charge of Methamphetamine Delivery. 38 year old Steven Kelly also of Lawrenceville was handed 4 years in the IDOC and 6 months of mandatory supervised release for Class 3 Felony Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. He was originally placed on probation but violated the terms.
