This weekend is Super Bowl weekend and the Illinois State Police as well as Lawrence County and other law enforcement are reminding those who attend Super Bowl parties to not drink and drive. If you plan to attend a get together, also plan a safe ride home. Use a designated driver, a ride service, taxi, Uber or other method to get home. The penalty for driving impaired could be a loss of life.
