Mary L. Webb, age 94, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on November 02, 1929 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Delora L. (Boone) Goodlink.
Mary worked for Kwoles Electronics in Elgin. After her retirement, she was able to move back to Lawrenceville, where she managed the carwash on Lexington Street. She was able to purchase the family home on Dubois Street, where she lived there for 25 years, and enjoyed hosting family gatherings.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, William Webb; three brothers, John Goodlink, Robert Goodlink, and James Goodlink; and four sisters Paula Arnold, Barbara Ferguson, Judy Griffin, and Jane Poole.
Survivors include two daughters, Cinda Turnquist of Cascade, Idaho and Kay Bender of Olney, Illinois; three sisters, Sarah ‘Sally’ Taylor of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Margie Odle and husband, Dan of Camby, Illinois, and Elizabeth ‘Sissy’ Siemons of Decatur, Illinois; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Private burial will be conducted in the Jones Cemetery at a later date.
