The Illinois State Police (ISP) have now released the name of the victim in a Richland County murder case. The homicide occurred this past Sunday December 17th in the 2400 block of East Main Street in Olney. The female victim was identified as 33 year old Nicole Pedigo of Olney. No other information surrounding the case including the manner of Pedigo’s death were given in a statement released Wednesday by the ISP, but they did indicate that there were no safety concerns for the community. Investigation continues.
