The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met Wednesday at Havoline Hall in Lawrenceville. The new Executive Board was announced with Danielle Stevens becoming the new president, previous president Jenny Weger is now vice-president, Ginger Shick is the secretary and Peggy Volkman the treasurer. Chamber Executive Director Amy Michelle Seed also indicated that the annual calender of events for the new year of 2024 is being formulated and evaluated with most major events returning. The Chamber will be part of an eclipse planning session in January along with the city of Lawrenceville and the Mid-American Air Center. it is scheduled for Tuesday January 16th at 11 a.m. at Co-Co’s in downtown Lawrenceville. Anyone who is interested in volunteering in the effort is invited to attend.
