INDIANS ROLL OVER OPH

The Lawrenceville Basketball Indians scored the first 15 points of the game to take control early and went on to overpower the Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville (OPH) Wildcats 94-43 in a rare Monday night game at LHS. The Tribe led 35-14 after one quarter, 64-24 at the half and 81-40 after three quarters enroute to the win. Four scored in double figures for the Indians led by Landon Sanders with 28, Bryant Jenkins with a double double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, Maddux Pargin with 18 and Parker Hardiman added 10. The Indian JV remained unbeaten at 4-0 with a 71-26 win over OPH led by Jayden Goff with 24 points, Emery Ivers with 12 and Jacek Mickiewicz with 10. The varsity is now 5-2 overall and will enter into Little Illini Conference (LIC) play Friday when they travel to Mt. Carmel to meet the Golden Aces.
