LADY BASKETBALL INDIANS DROP OPENER

The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians made their home and season debut Thursday night at LHS Gymnasium hosting the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs. The JV lost 45-14. The Varsity dropped a 59-45 decision. The hosts trailed by only three 26-23 at the half, but the Lady Bulldogs outscored them 16-5 in the third quarter to take a 42-28 lead after three and were in control for the remainder of the contest. The Lady Indians were led by Kenidee Boldt with 16 points and Addeline Sanders added 12. The 0-1 Lady Indians are off until next Wednesday November 22nd when they begin play in the multi-team Hamilton County Lady Foxes Invitational at McLeansboro.
