The National Weather Service says to prepare yourself for a trip into the deep freeze Monday night into Tuesday morning. A Freeze Warning has been issued for the entire WAKO listening area from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. CT. Forecasts are predicting the overnight low during that period to dip to near 25 degrees. This type of low temperature will produce frost and freeze conditions that will kill crops, other sensitive outdoor vegetation and potentially damage and freeze unprotection outdoor plumbing and pipes.
