The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross Country Indians competed individually this past Saturday in the Effingham Bulldog Invitational Meet. The girls race was won by host Effingham with 51 points. Isabella Keller of Effingham St Anthony was the individual race winner in a time of 16:51.39. For the Lady Indians, Laurel Buchanan finished 27th in 21:46.03 and Reese Tracy 42nd in 22:46.4. The boys race was captured by Decatur (St Theresa) with 68 points with Evan Cook of St Theresa winning the individual race in 15:37.58. For the Indians, Braydan Morrison finished 18th in a time of 17:29.62, Aiden Crawford 43rd in 18:27.78 and Simon Crawford 83rd in 20:07.86. As top 40 finishers, both Morrison and Buchanan received trophies. The next action for the squad will be the Class 2A Regional meet Saturday at Olney.
