The Vincennes Board of Works and Safety met Wednesday at City Hall and were witnesses to the swearing in of the 39th Vincennes city firefighter Elmer Stoltzfus. He is a Lancaster Pennsylvania native who became a firefighter in 2021. He has worked with the Paradise Indiana Fire Department and is still affiliated with the Cannelburg Indiana Fire Department. His hiring brings the department up to full strength.
