Carolyn Kay Kocher, age 85 of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Aperion Care of Bridgeport. She was born June 30, 1938, in Lawrenceville to Harry and Rachel (Kidd) Pugh.
Carolyn was married to Hilary E. Kocher, and he preceded her in death.
She was a 1956 graduate of Bridgeport Township High School. For many years, she worked as a loan officer for Community Bank and Trust in Lawrenceville. Carolyn was also utilized at the bank’s Olney location at times. She and Hilary were regular attendees at the Free Methodist Church of Bridgeport.
Surviving relatives include: two sons- Stephen Potts and Peggy Mills of Marshall and Michael Potts of Bridgeport; four grandchildren- Staci Millman and husband Josh, Matthew Potts and wife Melissa, Justin Potts and wife Shelby, and Jamie Loudermilk; nine great-grandchildren- S.J., Elanore, Clayton, Corbyn, Cambree, Lexi, Leah, Bennett, and Maddison; and one sister- Beverly Russell of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
There are no formal services planned at this time. Cunningham Funeral Home of Bridgeport is assisting the family during their time of loss.
