The City of Bridgeport will host an community meeting early next month regarding the potential creation of a fair or festival in the city in the future. That meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 5th at 6 p.m. at City Hall at 235 Washington Avenue in Bridgeport. Mayor Tyler Griffith told WAKO News that some public interest had been expressed toward reviving a fair or festival activity in the city and the meeting will be used to determine if there is enough interest and ideas on the subject to go forward. The public and any interested clubs, businesses or other organizations are invited to attend.
