The smell of gas Wednesday morning at Lawrenceville High School led to the evacuation of the building for a short period as a precautionary measure. The smell was detected during first hour according to principal Lance Boldt and was caused by a propane leak that seeped into the building ventilation system. The evacuation was for around 10 to 15 minutes in duration and student were let back in when the problem was corrected and the air cleared. There were no injuries.
