The Richland County (Olney) Tigers captured the Little Illini Conference Boys Golf Tournament for a second straight year. They led the 8 team field with a 325 team total on their home course at the Richland Country Club near Olney Wednesday. Mt Carmel was 2nd with 341, Paris 3rd at 347, Robinson 4th at 359 and Newton 5th at 359. The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Golf Indians were 6th with a 373 total. Casey-Westfield was 7th at 383 and Marshall 8th with 399. The low medalist and conference champion golfer was Reese Glover of the champion Tigers with a 77. The Mt Carmel Lady Golden Aces won the Girls LIC Tournament championship handily with a 310 total, well ahead of 2nd place Olney at 469. Maria Kennard of the champion Lady Aces was conference champion low medalist with a 74. The golf Indians will be at home at the Lawrence County Country Club Monday hosting Edwards County
