BASEBALL BRAVES FALL AT FLORA

Flora scored 3 runs in in the bottom of the third inning to break a 2-2 tie and went on to beat the Parkview Baseball Braves 11-3 Thursday at Flora. The hosts scored 11 runs on 9 hits with no errors while the Braves were held to 3 runs on 8 hits and committed 4 errors. Luke Boldt had 2 hits and a RBI, Paxton Gher also had a hit and RBI and Audie Taylor also had 2 hits for the Braves, but it was not enough. With the loss, Parkview falls to 1-4 and will be back at home Saturday when they host Newton (Jasper County) in a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. at Unit 20 Ballpark.
