Richland County authorities say that they have recovered the body of a missing man from East Fork Lake near Olney. The discovery was made Wednesday around 5 p.m. Emergency rescue personnel first started the search for the male victim Monday evening after he went missing under the water after an apparent boating incident. The Richland County Coroners office has identified him as 79 year old Phillip Bennett of Olney. The cause of death remains undetermined pending results of an autopsy scheduled for Thursday. No other details surrounding the death are being released. Officials have now reopened the lake to the public. It had been shut down to allow for the search.
