Authorities in Gibson County Indiana along with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) and other agencies are looking into a fatal incident at Toyota Boshuku Monday. The Gibson County Sheriffs Department reports that they along with emergency fire and medical rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene around 9:15 a.m. after a report of a worker injury. The deceased was identified as 49 year old Thierno Balde of Evansville. Toyota did release a statement following the incident expressing sadness at the death of a team member and that the health and safety of team members are a top priority. The company also said it was working in cooperation with the authorities in the investigation.
