Goo Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes has announced that effective Monday July 24th, visitors to the hospital will no longer have to use the Emergency Department entrance for evening and weekend visits. The hospital main entrance will now be open to coincide with visiting hours from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. ET seven days a week. Beginning Tuesday, July 25th through Friday July 28th due to crane activity at the Health Pavilion entrance, the Gibault Memorial entrance doors will be open for full visitation hours. Also the hospital has announced that it has expanded overnight patient visitation to allow for one person. That visitor must be 18 years of age or older, be able to take care of themselves independently and must stay in the room after normal visiting hours unless there is an emergency situation.
