Betty Jean Pinnick, age 92 of St. Francisville, passed away July 1, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born May 25, 1931, in St. Francisville to Joseph Edgin and his wife Mary (Shaner) Edgin.
On April 19, 1948, Betty married Homer Pinnick in Lawrenceville, and he preceded her in death.
Betty was a homemaker to her family, a member of the Free Methodist Church for nearly 50 years, and she volunteered at the St. Francisville Senior Citizens. She was always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile at dinners put on at the church.
Surviving family includes: her daughter- Joyce Kasinger: one brother- Forrest Edgin: four grandchildren: and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Joseph and Mary Edgin: one daughter- Sandra Kay Baud: five brothers- Lester, Chester, Charles, Ralph, and Raymond Edgin.
A time of visitation will be held at the Free Methodist Church of St. Francisville on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow immediately at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place after services in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
