Nico Hoerner drove in the game winning run in the top of the 11th inning with an infield hit to break a 6-6 tie and help the Chicago Cubs win a thriller late Tuesday afternoon 7-6 over the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Cub left fielder Ian Happ threw out two Brewers at the plate including a runner to end the game in the bottom of the 11th to preserve the win. The host Brewers had scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th inning to tie the game at 6. The two squads have split the first two games of the four game set. Game three is Wednesday night.
