The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Independence Day weekend. They will once again sponsor a parade and tailgating event prior to the Lawrenceville Fireworks on Monday July 3rd. The parade will line up at 5 p.m. and step off at 6 p.m. beginning on 12th Street in south Lawrenceville. Entries are still being accepted. Contact the Chamber office during regular business hours. Tailgating will take place following the parade on the parking lot at Ed Loeb Field with food, refreshments and ice cream available along with other activities for young and old alike. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk.
