Local business and civic leaders were on hand Tuesday afternoon in west Lawrenceville for a ribbon cutting to help the owners of Sip It located at 2202 James Street celebrate 4 years of ownership with the announcement of a business rebranding and expanded new offerings. The location is owned by Logan and Eric Hamilton along with Michelle and Kevin Thacker and has seen substantial growth lately. Sip It will now start offering Lotus energy drinks, coffee, protein shakes and snack wraps. Customers will have the opportunity to pick up loyalty rewards cards offering discounts. They also have a new business logo with T-shirts, souvenir cups and gift cards available. The business employs 11 people and is open Mondays through Fridays 7 a.m. till 8 p.m. CT and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. CT.
