STROMAN MAGNIFICENT AGAINST RAYS

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman pitched a complete game shutout allowing only 1 hit as they beat the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 Monday afternoon in the first of a three game interleague series at Wrigley Field. Stroman had a no hitter until the 7th when Wander Franco singled to left for the only hit. It was his first shutout since 2014 when he was with Toronto. Mike Tauchman hit a sacrifice fly to plate the only run of the game in the bottom of the fourth. The two teams meet Tuesday night in game two with the action coming your way on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m. CT and the play-by-play at 7:05 p.m.
