The season came to an end Tuesday afternoon for the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians. They were beaten by top seed and Little Illini Conference rival Newton 12-1 in semi-final play of the Class 2A Flora Regional at Jennings Field. The Lady Indians finish their season at 12-15. Newton will now move on to meet host Flora in the championship game Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Wolfgals edged Robinson 2-1 in the second semi-final Tuesday.
