FATAL SOUTHWEST INDIANA ACCIDENT

Authorities in southwestern Indiana have now identified the male subject who died in a train-vehicle collision in Vigo County Monday afternoon. The Vigo County Sheriffs Department says he was 19 year old Logan Blueher, a Terre Haute South High School student. The fatal crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. ET Monday at a crossing near East Harlan Drive and Bono Drive in southern Vigo County. The SUV that Blueher was driving was hit by the train with Blueher, the only person inside being killed. He was a senior and was scheduled to graduate in just two weeks and attend Purdue University in the fall.
