A local woman was injured after being struck by a car late Monday night at the Lawrenceville Walmart at 2610 West Haven Road. City police report that at around 10 p.m. a 2008 Ford being driven by Treisa Carlson of Lawrenceville was exiting the parking lot and struck 48 year old Tara Davis of Lawrenceville who was on foot. Davis was taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Carlson was not hurt. Authorities investigating the incident issued no citations.
