A longtime Vincennes city councilman has announced his intentions to seek higher office. Current city council president Tim Salters announced via Facebook this week that he intends to run for mayor in 2023. In the announcement, Salters says his experience over the last 10 years on the council has made him ready to lead the city and he looks forward to bringing new ideas to move the city forward.
