The Vincennes University Mens Cross Country team placed 8th out of 18 teams competing Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic meet in Peoria. Sophomore Mathew Keitany led the way with a 10th place individual finish in a time of 25:29.7. Freshman Issac Stanford of Flora finished with a time of 26:22.1 Former Lawrenceville-Red Hill product freshman Brayden Green of Sumner also ran for VU and finished in a time of 30:44.5. The VU men will now head to the NJCAA Region 24 championships to be contested Thursday October 27th at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
