The Casey-Westfield Warriors handed the Lawrenceville Football Indians their second straight road loss Friday night as they won a low scoring contest 12-6 at Sinclair-Vidoni Field in Casey. The host Warriors led 6-0 after 1 quarter and 6-0 at the half before adding another score in the third to lead 12-0. The Tribe managed their only score of the night also in the third on a 20 yard Luke Hatfield to Parker Hardiman touchdown pass to cut the lead to 12-6, but could get no closer despite some late chances. Casey improves to 2-3 and 2-3 in the Little Illini Conference with the win while the Indians drop to 1-4 and 1-4 in LIC play. The Indians are back home at Ed Loeb Field Friday to host the Robinson Maroons. Elsewhere in league play……..
