The Parkview Lady Softball Braves have advanced in the post-season. They got shutout pitching and plenty of offense in a 10-0 5 inning quarterfinal win over the Red Hill Junior High Miss Salukis Wednesday at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville in the Class 2A Teutopolis Regional 16 Tournament. The hosts led 4-0 after 3 innings, 9-0 after 4 and added a single run in the 5th for the win. Next up for the Lady Braves is semi-final play Saturday at 12 p.m. CDT at Teutopolis Middle School when they face top seeded Newton (Jasper County). Newton (Jasper County) received a first round bye.
