The St Francisville City Council met Wednesday in regular monthly session and hear from Mayor Danny Lynn that all six of the city water wells are now up and running. The city had to rebuild two of those wells amongst other work. Mayor Lynn also indicated that the city is looking into ways to help protect it’s water plant from lightening strikes, which have been problematic. New software upgrades at that facility are also been looked at. The council did approved the amended ordinance regarding the recent setting of a 10 m.p.h. speed limit for the Cannonball Bridge and signs with that new limit will be posted near and on the bridge. They also approved over $2600 for replacement of the fencing at the city ball park.
