The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has distributed the first round of the fiscal year 2022 School Maintenence Grants totaling $30 million to over 600 eligible applicants. Grantees will be able to use the money to improve and maintain educational infrastucture. Awards range up to $50,000. According to ISBE figures, here in Lawrence County the Red Hill Unit 10 School District will get $21,450 for it’s use through the grant program.
