The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reports there were 6, 358 new cases of coronavirus reported Thursday across the state with 2 additional deaths. Lawrence County continues to be listed as one of the counties with “Low Community Level” of transmission. IDPH and the Lawrence County Health Department continue to stress the need for getting vaccinated with boosters locally to help to end the pandemic.
