Applications for the 2022 Maxine Spitler Foundation grants are now available and are due by the end of May. The Spitler Foundation provides funding for youth and youth oriented organizations along with animal care and protection in both Lawrence and Jasper Counties in southeastern Illinois. Applications can be obtained through Rita Kocher at the firm of Weber and Company in Newton or by calling (618) 783-3447. Completed forms must be dropped off at the company office located at 604 West Jourdan Street by the date of Tuesday May 31st.
