The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville through Wednesday. The river Monday morning was at 31.3 feet- a rise of 2/10th of a foot overnight. The river is now expected to crest at 31.5 feet just after midnight and then began a slow fall to below flood stage of 30 feet late Tuesday.
