The city of Lawrenceville has announced the retirement of a longtime employee. Dave Helderman, Assistant Superintendent of the Cemetery and Parks Department retired Thursday March 31st. The 59 year old Helderman is a Lawrence County native and 1981 graduate of Lawrenceville High School and had worked full-time for the city since 1996. Helderman plans to spend more time with his family and friends in retirement.
