April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Lawrence County residents are invited to join with others across the state to wear the color blue as part of a month-long observance. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and Prevent Child Abuse (Illinois) want people locally and across the state to share child abuse and neglect prevention information and promote prevention. The theme for 2022 is “Growing Better Together.”
