Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) has announced it will pause production at it’s southwestern Indiana plant in Gibson County 5 days in April. In a statement released by the company this week, officials say continuing supply chain issues are to blame. The Princeton facility will be idled on the dates of April 1,8,14,15,and 18. On those days, employees will have the options of reporting for work to perform various tasks at the plant, using a paid time off day or taking unpaid time. The plant has a workforce of around 7,200 and assembles the hybrid Sienna minivan, the Highlander/Highlander hybrid SUV and the Sequoia full size SUV.
