The National Weather Service ended the Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville late Monday but is continuing the one for the Wabash River at Vincennes until this weekend. The river at Vincennes Tuesday morning was at 20 feet-4 feet above it’s 16 foot flood stage. it is expected to rise to around 20.5 feet before cresting and then begin a slow fall before going below 16 feet on Sunday. Some lowland flooding is continuing along the river in the Vincennes area.
