The National Weather Service is continuing it’s Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville until late Tuesday evening. The river crested over the weekend and was at 31.9 feet Monday and continuing to fall. It is expected to fall below it’s 30 foot flood stage sometime late Tuesday evening. The Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Vincennes until Sunday March 6th. The river Monday was at 20.4 feet and rising. It is expected to crest late Monday night at around 20.8 feet and then begin a slow fall to below it’s 16 foot flood stage this coming weekend.
