The Embarras River Basin Agency (ERBA) has announced it is accepting applications for it’s Skills Training Employment Program (STEP). The program is designed to assist individuals with training for employment opportunities. ERBA is looking to help income eligible individuals who want to obtain a CDL license or enter a CNA program. Applicants can contact a local Illinois college to get course specifics. STEP funding is made possible through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). The ERBA serves multiple counties in southeastern Illinois-Lawrence, Richland, Clark, Coles, Crawford, Douglas, Edgar and Jasper.
