Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange reports that two men were sentenced to prison terms this week in Lawrence County Circuit Court. 34 year old Steven Johns II of Lawrenceville was given 3 1/2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections along with 1 year of mandatory supervised release for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois felony. 27 year old Michael Inyart of Olney was also sentenced for Unlawful Possession of Meth. He had been placed on probation, but violated the terms. Inyart was given 3 years in the DOC along with a year of mandatory supervised release. Both men must pay all previously imposed court fines and assessments.
