The Lawrence County Board met in a brief special session Thursday afternoon at the Lawrence County Courthouse. There was only 1 item on the agenda-a property sale. They approved a quick-claim deed transfering a parcel of unowned property to Ambraw Asphalt. The land is located near the company office on Illinois Route 1 south of Lawrenceville and has been used by the company previously. The sale transfer was approved unanimously and will get the property back on tax rolls.
